Daddy with a Twist

Dear Daddy, Please Trust Me by Rheland Richmond

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this twist on the Daddy/boy trope. Sebastian is a father to an adorably precocious daughter and is older than Maddox. That doesn't mean Sebastian isn't the perfect boy for Maddox. After being betrayed by his previous boy, Maddox is cautious and not sure he's ready for another relationship. But Sebastian is able to show him their relationship doesn't have to be a one-way street and he can be supportive and take care of Maddox, too.

Plenty of heat and not much angst at all. Definitely worth a read!

There's more to writing a thriller than just having a scary idea. You need to pull your reader in and then entice them to turn the page. You can do this through creating characters they care about and keeping them guessing with foreshadowing and plot twists.
